Attic growing - Is it a risk?

There are hundreds of books and articles and movies on growing cannabis. Google will be your friend; also there are some grow guides here on the grow forums, just remember to take everything you read with a "grain of salt." What works for some growers doesn't work for others so don't get discouraged when someone's "great advice" doesn't do anything for ya.

As for heat, I would not be worried at all, and here's why. If your attic gets above 95F, your plants will die. So by the time the temperature rises to the point where they can see the heat, I imagine your plants will be dead. I know they use the heat thing to find growers, but we're talking looking at barns with lots and lots of lights and things like that, not people's attics. Healthy paranoia is good to keep you out of trouble, but I don't think anyone will be busting your attic grow room by using heat sensors.

i have a sweet attic set up ill post pics of it some time i have a ten foot
uv light in there too

 

thats silly though, cause in cold states lots of people use heat tape to melt snow on roofs, so it cant ice up.

 

i think the controlling the temp would be hard though in the summer because my attic has some holes for air but it would probably be really hot on a 100degree day.

 

I would like some information on your room I wanna have a room in our attic.
