We are heading to Cali the first part of may and I will be in the OC mainly Huntington beach and San Diego area and I would like to hit up some really cool head shops. I wont have much time for this so I was hoping you guys/gals could name off a few spots that have a good selection of glass with some unique peices. Thanks in advance.
cool thanks, not sure if we will end up that far north looks like that place is about 115 mi from the hotel but I'll add it to the list.
some cool shops in Pacific Beach. forget alot of the names but check out PB Tobacco and the Funky Monkey, and one that's like wizard glass or something. also Outer Limits and innerworld in oceanside both off the 101 are prety cool. there are tons in venice beach too.
In San Diego: PB Tobacco sells prodo, import, and fakes. Funky Munkey has some cool stuff. But the best shop to go is Da Glassworks hands down.
Well, wherever you go, don't go to the east part of San Diego. New laws are making all the headshops close, more or less. They had to take out all things that could be used to smoke out of. Pipes, bongs, hookahs, everything. There is a nice one in Clairemont called Illusions though.
In Orange/Anaheim area, check out Quick Stop. They have pretty good prices cause they blow their own stuff there.
It might be an extra drive but well worth it. GO TO VENICE BEACH! There are about 50 head shops within a mile of plaza, which means heavy competition, you can negotiate anything, even parking prices. You will not regret.
oh and go to Good Morning in Cardiff and ask to see the Layback. the guy that works there is a strange character, but i think he blows some of his own glass, and the layback is a pretty cool invention. almost like a zong but not really.
I would really love to but its about 450 mi from the hotel sooooo that wont be happening this trip. One of these days though.
