Update About Advertising on Grasscity Important: A New Chapter for Grasscity

Atlanta Music Midtown

    Hey all. I signed up to ask if anyone has experiences with Atlanta's Music Midtown Festival. This year will be my first visit, and I'm really looking forward to it. I had a great time at Bonnaroo and really took advantage of the lax security. I could smoke virtually anywhere, and would love to do the same at Music Midtown. However, since the venue (Piedmont Park) is within the city, I have my doubts,

    Could anyone who's been to the festival recently enlighten me on the security? Like, are there police within the venue, and do they search you upon entry? I was hoping to bring my dugout.

    Thanks for reading. BTW I'm really looking forward to Foo Fighters, Florence + The Machine, and Pearl Jam.

    Hey! I was just looking up the same thing! Guess we're in the same boat. Coming from Florida.
    Same bands too! But I wanna catch The Avett Brothers too.

    Well I can't seem to find any answers out there. I guess I'm just gonna wing it and bring my stash with me. Should be an awesome show!

    If you crotch but or whatever you will be fine.

    I have never been to it but I have been to festivals that are in a similar urban environment.

    Go into the pit to smoke/whatever.

    I am going down to Atlanta for counterpoint the following week.
