Atheism Challenged

  1. You speak like a politician. You attempt to sound like your point is valid through your eloquence (which is formidable, I might add).

But through all the smoke, here's what you said: "It's stupid to try to prove something based on faith through evidence". That's it. But then comes along with inherent problems, since you're dismissing physical evidence as a whole. Therefore, your God has no more basis for belief than any other god.

  2. LOL, I'm actually an atheist.
And I'm too tired to keep posting, if this thread is alive tomorrow, which I'm sure it will be, I'll give another crack at it.

  3. Wow, I can't believe people are still posting to this. If anyone doubts God, they can be pretty adamant, lol.

Again, I must reaffirm that God does indeed exist. Look for him in nature, at dawn, dusk and on starry nights. Look for him in a cannabis seed and realize that you are very much like this seed.

Atheism is nothing to be ashamed of, it's interesting, but it will do no good to your fellow man to negate God.

Sure bad things happen to us all the time, but who knows, maybe we existed in another dimension or universe and deserve to be put on this rock for a few years to burn off some crimes that we've committed towards our fellow man.

If we must argue, let atheism fight a true fight against love, as God is this. Do atheists believe in love? If so, consider yourself challenged.

    Peace.

  5. Everyone has a label even if they dont want one.
Im against religion, i just cant get my head around it, and ill admit i need facts to believe in something.
Plus more people have died over religion than anything else, it promotes homophobia, racism, sexism and violence.
    :)

  6. Trying to start an argument about how Athiests are instigators is like trying to find death associated with marijuana use.

If you still don't get my point, then try and find in our history where Athiests were responsible for millions of lives lost.

If you're looking for what is wrong in religion, please do not look towards this rather peaceful minority, for religion itself has been the root cause of more bloodshed than mankind will ever bring forth in war.

Ironically, you're looking for what is wrong with a group of people that do not sponsor that bloodshed, yet somehow labeling them as the instigator...

  7. Kind of a bad example my friend.

Stalin and Mao Zedong were atheists (and responsible for the most death the world has ever seen, which should say something about their idea of socialism). But you would be right that atheism wasn't the movement behind the deaths, but an attribute of the leaders.

  8. Religion and God equal love then??

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAHAHAHAHHAAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHHAAHHAAHHAHA

    ...

    That is all.

  9. Yeah, but they didn't kill people in the name of atheism like most Christian psychopaths have. Big difference there.

  10. NGS224:

Religion and God equal love then??

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAHAHAHAHHAAHA HHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHHAAHHAAHHAHA

    ...

    That is all.

let's not confuse religion with spirituality. Thank you atheists for a great debate. :) I'm not religious, don't practice any religion...and was relatively unbiased in that regard. On to Organic Gardening Forum. Can anyone suggest another intersting forum channel aside from this one?

    Peace.

  11. Yeah, it is pretty laughable people actually believe that.
