At what age will you let your kids start smoking weed?

I started at 13-14.. If I catch my kid doing it and he's fucking up in school, isn't in any sports etc I will definitely not let him use it. I matured around 14-15 and that's when I started to use it daily with out any problems.

 

If they're smart and get a's an shit, I'll let them start at 13.

 

Highschool, Maybe save them from getting ripped off as a freshmen and make them wait til 10th grade

 

Whenever they want, and only if they wish to.

 

It's probably already been said, but it's worth repeating....

They will be allowed to smoke when they are able to do it responsibly. As long as that's after they are in high school.

Everytime I read these kind of threads I find it funny that everyone says you should wait till your eighteen while mentioning that they started much younger themselves. How many of you who started before eighteen ended up dropping out of high school or go crazy, I doubt very many of you. Personally I would prefer if my kid waited till eighteen but I would probably let them do it when they turned fifteen or sixteen. All depends on how mature they are.

 

I'm going to force my dreams of being a boxer onto my son, so I want him to never smoke or drink. He will not love me, but in the end it'll be for his good.

 

When I believe they are mature enough to do it, most likely around their junior year in high school. Hell, I might even give them their 1st ounce & see if they like it or not.

 

ill cross that bridge when i come to it. i dont have a clue if ill even let them or tell them i ever did. i think alot of it has to do with maturity and being able to control yourself.

The only way you're letting your kid smoke is if he plays sports? Quite fucked up logic, but it's your kid.

I will let my kid smoke at 15 or 16, as long as he isn't a fuckup in school.

When I feel they're mature enough. Probably 15. But not a lot. Maybe only like 1-2 times a week. If you smoke while your brain is still developing it can damage it. :-/

 

I see why you guys say the same age as you but my first smoke was at 12. I probably wouldn't introduce them to the herb until they're 18 but if they start on their own I'd say 16.

I don't know, to be honest, id wait for them to discover it i wouldnt talk about it openly until i know they smoke it. if they do it, oh well no point in not alowing it because that will cause them to want to do it more. so id say as soon as they figure it out, and try it for themselves.

i also did start when i was very young, i think the first time i smoked it was in grade 2 but i never had effects from it, i knew about it since i was 4 atleast cause i was always around it and in my family it is acceptable, because hell everyone smokes it, and when i say EVERYONE i mean it. Lol .

 

It all depends. If my kid grows up like i did, and is practically a grown adult at 14 like i was, let him go. I'll just go by his experience, and yeah, i'll put some trust in him too.

If i catch him/her slipping up i'll be on their fucking ASS like a skidmark, piss tests weekly and shit. If they can stay responsible i don't see why they can't do it early like i did (although i'd rather not but i'm not gonna be a hypocrite, i say that now anyway)
