Asteroid to hit earth??

    I just heard on the news that scientists have found an asteroid that may hit earth in 25 years. They say its a small chance but its weird to hear them talk about that shit on the news. He said it was about the size of 4 football feilds. And it would cause tsunamis from the ocean if it hit water and it would cause alot of damage if it hit land.

    Another weird thing is they said if it did it might hit on Friday the 13th (april) of 2029. (How the hell they figured that out i have no clue, i mean i dont see how they can be so precise cant it speed up and slow down or hit another asteroid or suttin?)

    I read a news artical about this. They said there is a 1 in 300 chance it will impact with us.

    First of all, I ain't worrying about the end of time till a bunch of people spontaneously disappear into thin air (the rapture of the church). THEN I will worry about what will happen next.

    But spiritual issues aside, think of it. They know the rock is out there. They even have it pinpointed as to when it will impact. And you don't think they don't have the stuff in the global gun cabinet to blast that fucker out of the sky?

    Well, if it is gonna hit and if we really cant do anything about it im gonna get me a lawn chair, go up on the highest mountain in my nieghborhood with a 6 pack of mikes and some blunts and watch shit unfold.

    one in 300 ?!?!? thats pretty shit!!! things cannot speed up or slow down in space, unless hit by something else they will continue at the same speed/acceleration they left off at

    i hope if it does happen that we as humans dont do anything stupid like try and blow it up or shoot lasers at it, if its meant to be its meant to be.. we'll be back in a different form. Look at it in a positive light, hell the dinosaur era was probably shit for us humans, and this time around we've come along way with technology. granted, we fucked up our living conditions, but those are all the bugs we work out through the eons

    i'm sure it wouldn't hit us, but i'll buy like a few 100 hit sheets of good acid so i'll have enough to keep me extremely high for a few days before and for a few days after so I wouldn't even know if i existed or not for the time it might hit. I think a very high dose of acid would be the best state to die in, what could be better if your going to die then either feeling like super man in a third dimention, or not even knowing if you exist as you travel through a multi coloured infinate space.




    you wouldn't even know what your fate would be 40 minutes after ingesting like 15 hits of it you'd be so high. and if the whole world turns to shit, you have allot of acid to keep you busy untill you eventually feel like crap and go investigating inside yourself with a big knife. (this is where you die, if the inital blast doesn't kill you)

    ya i doubt it will hit. But if it were about to i know our goverment wouldnt just sit around. I mean if not to protect to us to protect their own asses. Im sure they have some high technology shit we dont even know about. And theyd whip it out in a sec if it was threatening their lives too.

    The thing is supposedly only 4 football fields, right? If it did hit us, it would probably only destroy a single city, no? Thats what I would think. Anyway, I hope it lands in france! hahahaha shush.. Im half french.

    the one that took out the dinosaurs wasn't too big, either. when you take into account the momentum it carries, it can do some serious damage, even if it's little. But it won't hit. Either the aliens or the government HAVE TO BE powerful enough to stop it, right? ;)
