So Assassin's Creed is on sale on Steam. I have never played any of these games but for $5 I figure it might be worth it. The question is, a)should I get it, b) should I get AC2, Brotherhood, and revelations as well? The original is $5, as are AC2 and Brotherhood, with Revelations being $15. If I buy the pack that includes all of those plus $24 worth of DLC for $39. So Assassin's Creeds fans, explain to me why I should buy the game, and if I should buy just one or the whole pack?
I'd say buy the whole pack. Not just because all of them are amazing in their own individual ways, but the environments, characters, and missions in each of them are so unique and open-ended that you'll never complete a mission the same way twice. Plus, the combat gets better and better with each entry, so you'll definitely have fun if you enjoy nice, fluid combat. In my opinion, I'd say Brotherhood is the best, followed by ACII, then ACI, then Revelations. But they're all fantastic and bring something new and unexpected to the table. It's a 40 bucks you won't regret spending.
I bought the first one a couple weeks ago. It's chill and its like gta4 with prince of Persia. It does sort of get repetitive with the saving citizens missions
If you're gonna buy just one....buy AC2. The first one can get a bit repetitive. The third one was good as well but I just found it too similar to AC2. Either way you will have fun....especially playing it baked
Buy ACII and play it for an hour or two. Then if you like it you can buy the rest. I personally think ACII is one of the best games I've ever played, it was drastically better than AC as there's so much more stuff to do and the cities (Florence, Venice and Flori, with lots of countrysides) are much livelier and enjoyable than the three in the first game. Free running is really good fun when blazed, along with climbing the taller towers and buildings. It's like GTA in a way, but on foot and in the past. I can't wait for ACIII. So far it looks incredible and the setting is fascinating as I've never really looked into the American Revolution, I know the basics but nothing more. This game will inspire me to do that hopefully. ACII did with the Renaissance.
