Ashcatcher help!

    Hi i just odered this

    But it doesnt come with a downstem can i just add a little water in the a/c and attach my bowl to it and just let the ash fall in the water since its just a ashcatcher or do i need a diffuser or downstem for it???

    well you could use it like that but you really should get a downstem so you can get more filtration

    I believe its a dry ash catcher, you could possibly buy a diffuser thats short enough to fit in there. not sure though

    This. The down stem will help with the filtration and probably make it easier to clear the ashcatcher. :smoking:

    I dont really wanna spend more money on a downstem or diffuser and i dont care about more filteration but i think it is a dry ashcatcher?? i am not sure also.. helpppp

    True enough, well a downstem could be as cheap as 5 dollars.. and it helps clear the ash-catcher. :smoking:

    can i ask what made you pick that one over the ones that come with downstems for the around the same price?
