I’ve been smoking joints for the LONGEST time, and have just recently gotten into buying myself a nice piece and am now getting interested in some accessories. The problem I’m having is, the y’all bong I bought a few weeks ago has an intake that juuust a little bit too big for my ash catcher that I just bought to try and take bigger and cleaner tokes. I guess my question is, is there a proven good way to make it fit without putting risk to the catcher? Or do I need to try and see if I can exchange it for a larger size if they even have one?
there are only generally 2 sizes for your bong 14mm and 18mm sounds like you bought the wrong size for your bong I cant imagine a head shop allowing someone to return a piece of glass. sales are final on glass in my experience. good luck
A good glass shot will have attachments. is the neck to big or too small to fit into the ash catcher? The guy where I bought mine added another glass piece onto mine to make it fit.
Why don’t you just use a screen or something? Bypass the ash catcher, your water is always gonna get dirty, ya know. I think you can avoid a lot of ash by avoiding serious heat when you are milking the bowl, I hear good things about hemp string.
You can get an attachment that goes from like 18mm to 14mm or whatever or just buy a new one the proper size. Honestly I'd probably just get a new one cause it'd be annoying to deal with but if you want to save some money you could get the adapter.
