Art major Aliza Shvarts '08 wants to make a statement. Beginning next Tuesday, Shvarts will be displaying her senior art project, a documentation of a nine-month process during which she artificially inseminated herself "as often as possible" while periodically taking abortifacient drugs to induce miscarriages. Her exhibition will feature video recordings of these forced miscarriages as well as preserved collections of the blood from the process. http://www.yaledailynews.com/articles/view/24513 What say you?
Excuse me, sir...but did you just doubt sky dog? I mean..I think I read it that way..but I just don't believe someone would actually do it. This is very upsetting Sir, I believe apologies are in order http://newsbusters.org/blogs/warner-todd-huston/2008/04/17/yale-students-abortion-art-claim-scam http://crazyuncleintheattic.blogspot.com/2008/04/abortion-art-was-just-hoax-you-big.html http://digg.com/world_news/Yale_Student_Aliza_Shvarts_Abortion_Art_Claim_a_Scam_Hoax
^My apologies indeed. Glad to hear it's not true, but I can't say that I"m upset she was lying. http://www.yale.edu/opa/ ^Yale's Official Statement
Glad to hear it's a fake. I've had one miscarriage and it's landed me in the hospital for a week. Having a miscarriage messes up your hormones and your insides so much, I would have felt sorry for her if it were true. I don't know why anyone would want to put themselves through that.
