Is 14mm the size of the stems that come with the solo? I'm interested in picking up a bong for my solo as well
The stock stems fit into a 14mm bowl opening. ssfgglass.com is what I would recommend. Decent travel tube for $60 or nice regular tubes for $90-100.
think i'll grab a travel beaker, looks cool. how does it work with a solo? i see these guys on youtube take long milk shots but from how it works usually i always have to take many little hits at 3-4 temp setting. for VBing do you just crank it up to 7 or something and shot the whole stem? or do you just use your regular personal temp setting and draw at a normal pace?
I use it dry at temp 5, with a bong I'm at 5 or 6. I usually get half the number of hits when vapor bonging, but its still like 4-5 hits when vapor-bonging per stem. I don't use any special adapters, just the stock stem. I remove my 14mm glass on glass bowl and put my stem in the hole and start hitting it.
I attach a small piece of 7th Floor tubing from my SSV over the stock stems, then attach my SSV bong adaptor on the other end of the tubing. Through my 11' beaker, the Solo milks better than my SSV ever could
