I've been searching for the best deal on a Solo and have run into some issues dealing with Arizer. I wrote and asked them about discounted Solo's being sold on the web, and whether they might just be overstock of older Solo models. Specifically, I asked about puffitup's $160 m1a4 ad. Arizer came back and said that Puffitup isn't an "authorized distributor"(Puffitup says they are ). They also completely ignored me when I requested information on the various models. Anyone have experience dealing with Arizer, or knowledge about the different Solo models?
I have only had positive experiences with arizer and their products. I previously had an extreme vaporizer and had it replaced 2 times and then they upgraded my product the extreme q due to the multiple replacements and since then I have not had any problems. I received my product extremely quickly for all 3 shipments. I also purchased my item from eBay so I don't know about the authorized distributor, etc because this was over 3 years ago. I still use my extreme q daily and love it, thanks arizer!
Puffitup does take care of the warranty themselves, so I'm guessing they have to be authorized distributors. I just recieved a Solo from puffitup under warranty, and it is infact an M1A4 which is the newest model.

That is very possible. Even in LHS in Chicago I've seen them go for $230-260, $160 is a damn good price, especially considering all comparable portable vapes at $210+
I ordered mine from Vapeworld.com. They have it listed for higher but they have a price match deal. I showed them the puffitup deal price and they hooked me up with the 160$ deal. It was the newest model that I got as well.
For what its worth. I got the $160 deal from puffitup and I was able to register my unit for the arizer warranty on their site.
I guarantee that was either used or from eBay, because you can't get warranty with either of those unless the used one still has warranty.
Hmmm... I remember looking on Amazon and they were being sold there for pretty cheap at one point. How do you like the Solo and how do you like it in comparison to the DBV? I wish I could get the same efficiency and same big hits using a Solo as I do the DBV and I would switch over but I know that's very unlikely. Waiting for a really great portable to come out. I convinced my friend to get the Solo but he didn't give me much of a review. It didn't seem like he liked it all that much. He would smoke bowls a lot of the time still. He said he wasn't able to conceal it so easily so went with the pipe a lot of times.
Highly unlikely? My solo can produce the same lung choking hits as my DBV can. I get less big hits off a solo bowl than the DBV, but the bowl is smaller so that is to be expected.
