OK I don't want an argument on weather Christianity is fraud or just a way to consolidate power to Christian nations. I want an argument on weather you think weed intoxication is a sin or not(assuming Christianity is real) If your an atheist I want your input to, but not on weather Christianity is real,rather an argument on weather weed is a sin to smoke according to the Bible.
I wouldn't worry about what a 2000 year old book says Live your own life. If you personally think it's wrong, then it's wrong. If you think it's ok, then it's ok. Whether an action is a sin or not is strictly subjective. Unless it's an action like murder, but hey even murder can be justified.
What BA said I don't consider growing a medicine to treat problems and give me a better quality of life is a sin, and anyone who does think that is a 'sin' Is incredibly wrong.
According to the bible, smoking anything is technically a sin. But I mean, if we're playing by the bible's rules, what isn't a sin? Everyone does something that's against the bible everyday... Don't really care if smoking weed is a sin. Like it's really going to increase the already high chances of me going to hell.
Doesn't the bible say obey the authority God has put above you? That authority says not to smoke weed. One more example of Christians picking and choosing parts of the bible to follow and disregarding the rest.

And btw if you actually read the bible you would see and understand that there are many verses stating that disobeying the government and its laws is not wrong so long as the government and laws that have been created go against god and the laws are not righteous. Do you think those that went against suppressive regimes in the past like the Nazi's are bad people because they did not obey the government? Jesus himself and many apostles went against the government when the laws were evil. Where do you think martyrs came from? All those who were killed for going against the government by preaching God's word and translating it so others can read it, they are in hell right?
I wouldn't be so quick to jump to conclusions on things none of us have the answer to. You would be diluting yourself to think you have the slightest idea about the universe or what happens after we die.
I'm a Muslim and I believe shit like Alcohol and hard drugs is a sin. Weed however, Organic plant. Overall pretty safe, no worries.

But since the thread has been turned into exactly what I didn't want it to become here's my two cents. I understand atheist bug out because they say religion cripples scientific advancement,but people like me(a Christian )who will live a normal life with the hope that I wont die and my journey is over rather that there's life after death. Why can't you all just let me think that(assuming its false according to u) so I have something to look forward to. The worst thing that would happen is I would live a morally good life considering the Bible has the same idea of what is "right" (mostly)according to a morally pure atheist such as 1 do not lust 2 do not steal 3 do not murder Ect. In other words the worst thing that would happen if religion is false is I would not do as many bad things as a bad person and if I'm a super passionate Christian (which I'm not) I would spread the word and give other people things to look forward to after this horrible life. Is that so bad? Plus I'm not on here saying REPENT SINNERS. I have atheist/gay/lesbian friends and have nothing against there beliefs. So basically if you leave my beliefs alone and don't insult them I wont waste my time trying convinceing you to turn your life to God. Not very Christian but amb I really guna change your mind anyway? If you want to live a sinnful(morally wrong) life and go to hell or just stay in the ground and rot go ahead. Any way if getting high is a sin that's just one more sin ill be doing forever .
I can see weed in both a good and bad light. I'm pretty certain on most of what would and wouldnt be considered a sin or morally wrong, except with weed. I mean on the one hand it does sedate, and it can make you dull to a certain extent. So I can see it being a sin. But at the same time, the high produced from weed is a calm, relaxed, non sloppy, almost 'spiritually attuned' state of mind. Plus I have had so many startling revelations on weed that have improved my outlook on life by a great deal. I dont think I would be the person I am today if I had not smoked marijuana ever. I lean toward NO more than yes, but I mean if you are using weed as an escape from something then.... Look at this picture and tell me if what you see is a sin. IMO if there is an afterlife a person like Bob Marley would be welcomed with open arms. He was the embodiment of a pure loving soul.
