Are you comfortable.....

most people that know me know that i smoke except for my employers, and often my colleagues.
my parents and brother know that i smoke, and i've smoked in front of my mom. not with, though.

 

Absolutely. There's no reason to lie about it at all. Well, unless like a cop asks me or something...

 

i admit it to anyone. my mom knows and shes cool with it, she doesnt see the harm in it.

 

I've blazed with a few of my bosses. I used to work closing shift at this McD's around where I live... I brought a grav bong in and we ripped a few of those after we closed down lobby. We'd smoke blunts behind the dumpsters all the time (the dumpsters had a little fenced in area so no one else could see)... Fun times

As far as my parents are concerned... They know I smoke, and they're starting to finally accept that it's not as bad as they were originally taught back in their day. They don't approve of my smoking, because it's illegal; but they've accepted the fact that I do, and they don't give me a hard time about it anymore.

EDIT: ^^^As is seeming to be the case with those above, most people who know me, know I smoke. My bosses don't, but quite a few people I work with do (I've even smoked with a couple on lunch break ).

 

i think pretty much everyone that has ever met me knows i smoke, or assume i do by the way i look. i dont mind though, im not hiding anything. i know for sure anyone that knows my mom knows i smoke, her friends always see me walking outside with friends for "cigarettes" then comming back in and swiping all the food from the table before going off to watch discovery channel.

My family already knows. So do my neighbors, but they are all pretty cool so that's fine. Everyone I work with is a stoner, including the managers. I've toked up with most of them.

 

im very comfortable with admiting i get high i dont have a problem with it, my mom knows i smoke so does my girlfriend and sister and they dont care, i just dont do it around them out of respect. and if anybody ask i either say its not there busniess and ask its releveance or tell them if i know they smoke and are cool with it.

 

i told my parents but they took it pretty well. when i told them it was my junior year of high school and told them flat out: Look, teenagers like to have fun, whether its alcohol or other drugs, my choice of drug is pot, i know its illegal but i do it in a safe environment, i buy it with my own money etc etc

eventually it became a matter of dont ask dont tell haha

 

there are very few people who know i smoke. most are people i smoke with. i would tell anyone i care about the truth, but that doesn't mean i want to initiate the conversation. all my friends and family that don't know are strongly anti-drug.

 

i talk openly about it with my mom because I smoke it in her house she can usually smell it and sees no harm in it as long as i keep my grades up

My dad has never really brought it up n i dont bring it up infront of him.

Although last christmas at my dads moms house my brother was talking about all the times hes got in trouble or arrested and when he was done everyone was looking at me. My grandma says "youve never been arrested have you" I said "nope" (even tho im sure 3/4 people in the room knew that was a lie) Because i think its sickly disturbing to talk about that kind of stuff (just a para charge) while your opening presents with your family on christmas and regardless, i dont think its wise to admit to incriminating things around intolerant family which is what id consider that side to be.

 

My closely related family and best friends know I smoke on a daily. I do not let anyone else know, even close friends of my friends barely know anything about my habits.

None of my employees nor managers/bosses know I smoke pot. I do smoke cigarettes, so that may be a give away of my past, but certainly not my present.

I feel not many people work at high-end jobs on this forum though. Or most are probably under 21 working at fast food joints/etc -- where every person smokes.

 

out of the four jobs i've had, i've been high with an employee at each and every one. I worked for my dad from ages 12-16. an oil change guy used to give me xanax and tramadol at work. at a pizza place i used to work for i smoked with 2 managers and various other employees. at the steakhouse i used to call work i smoked with the 2nd in command manager, usually a few times each month. i smoked with one of the floor managers on an almost daily basis, i got weed for another manager once, and one of the 2 remaining managers was going to come smoke with us once but decided to go home instead. the last manager was the owner, who came to a drinking party in the middle of the day with split-shift servers.. haha. out of almost everyone left, i have either smoked or coked with them. at pizza job number 2, i smoked with employees, and 'fessed up to eating xanax on the clock to the manager. i didnt get fired either.. it's odd, but i've had a very accepting work environment of the more taboo indulgences known to humanity.

 

Since I'm on a drug contract now, and I get tested at random, I admit it infront of everyone...I don't give a shit anymore.

 

My parents believe that I don't smoke anymore and I intend to keep it that way.

But to anyone besides some family or whatever I have no problem at all telling anyone that I do.

 

ill admit it to anyone, even a cop. i'll just be sure not to have anything on me if i was to admit it to a cop lol

 

You'd prolly be surprised... I used to work in Accounts Payable, (I currently work for a company that owns the top 20 pharm. companies in the US), and I know there's some members on this board who have higher-end jobs (IT Professionals, Head Chefs, management, etc.)...

 

Everyone that I am close to knows. Hell, my mom let me use her pee to pass a drug test. I think that lets you know how little she cares about it. I'm not ashamed of it at all.

I haven't told anyone at work yet. I'm still scoping them out.
