Are tinctures a middleground between edibles and smoking?

  1. From what I've heard it sounds like they should kick in faster and perhaps not last as long as standard edibles? I'm not really a fan of how slow edibles are to kick in and also don't necessarily always benefit from a longer duration (especially if you're too fuckin high which edibles make easy to happen being sensitive to em).

I have a good bit of AVB and might use some to make an everclear tincture or something but I'm curious about first hand results u guys might have if u think it's worth it

  2. I've tried making tincture, having done so, I have to say I prefer the capsules I make (a take on @BrassNwood capsules), only mine are 5mg each. If edibles hit too hard for you, a few drops of CBD taken when the edible is taken can help mellow out the high.

  3. High proof alcohol Tincture is exactly like inhalation because it is Delta-9-THC the same as smoked. Hits fast and wears off equally quickly.
Decarb some ABV as a test run as well as run a batch without and see if it benefits from it.
Freeze weed and 190 proof separately overnight. Combine using only enough booze to cover the weed and agitate well.
Shake 10 seconds and press out with metal industrial grade potato ricer.

  4. I never realized that with alcohol it stays delta 9 and never becomes 11 hydroxy. That's really cool and explains the different effect.
