  1. I was an idiot and switched from perfectly fine Poland springs (6.5) to distilled. I just bought a pH pen finally. Bit it could be too late. I bought Poland springs and calmag.

I water with distilled five or six days ago. They won't take it. The last day or so, I took. Out of the tent, I have been trying to dry out the soil with a fan and putting it on the window with the window open, so I can put in Poland spring with calmag. I think I got root rot. my plants are wilting and even the top leaves are sick.

The pot still isn't fully dry to water and still has weight to them.

    Are my plants goners?

  7. You're plants are probably wilting because they're root bound in those pots..
As you transplant, check the roots
    Best of luck

  8. I use Michigan M3. It's a water to harvest soil.
My guy at the hydroponics shop said dry out the soil and add the highest dosage of calgmag possible with Poland spring.

  9. I highly doubt they're root bound. They haven't been in the one gallon pots that long.

You are growing in soil correct? Not hydro and not coco. You don't need to alter your water. Your plants should recover. Water appropriately from your tap, don't adjust your pH, use a basic liquid organic nutrient (nothing fancy), and that's all. Don't use cal/mag supplements, just leave it alone and let it work its own problems out. The supplement game is fairly new. We didn't have any of these products when I first started growing. The only time that the plant needed real care was when you had an insect infestation.

Whatever happened here was likely caused by your intervening. The next mistake is further intervention from you, in an attempt to fix what you've done previously, you will likely only compound the problem.

    * I looked up the soil you're growing in. There is no way you have a deficiency in that stuff. I don't like fortified soil. These problems are more likely to occur in the so called "super" soils. I find that the cheapest dirt does the best work. Sounds like you've already flushed things out. Now leave it alone.

*When you transplant you could save yourself money and headache by getting some cheap organic soil from Walmart. No frills, no time release nutrients, just basic.

  11. Honestly to me it looks like a soil ph problem. There may not have been enough Humic & Fulvic acid in your batch( the buffering component to living soil. It’s not that big of a problem. 1st decipher if it’s actually that as I can be very wrong. Rapid test has a very affordable soil test kit. Determine the soil ph and if it’s anything above ph7 or below 6 we know where to adjust or what to add. Just my 2 cents.

  12. Seriously. My seedling were almost root bound in Solo cups within 10 days of seeds breaking through the soil. I put them in 1 gallon bags but I doubt they will last 2 weeks in them while I sex them. Then I will return a couple ladies to 15 gallon pots to finish the grow.

I should note that I use air pruning fabric bags as well.

Even if you are using Coco the riots can get hound and very much so in soil.

I doubted it myself till I looked at the bottom holes of my pot.
    Either way, best of luck
