    Pics please bro :D

Also, the copper and aluminum are fine. Even though they have lower temps it's takes ALOT for them burn.
And given they nature of metals, when they burn, you'll know it.
The black stuff is just carbon residue because your BURNING A PLANT lol.

If you notice a bad taste from Anything metal (Copper, Aluminium, even new steel pipes) It's residue.

Most factories place thin films on metal factories to nullify harmful chems and prevent corrosion. That residue is harmless to humans. If it weren't they would get sued for using on stuff people touch everyday.

    So everybody chill.
    you're not going to die.

Sorry dint read all the posts aluminium has a very high 500' c vaporisation point so it is safe as far as that is concerned, it is the sulphate of aluminium deposits on the can that cause heavy metal aluminium sulphate poisoning and that can lead to memory loss head aches to all the way up to cancer and death not nice! So I am glad you got a pipe, 40 years of smoking hard in the uk I have never seen ANYONE use a can other than all the crack heads!
    Peace stay well

  5. It feels horrible to read all of the misinformation in this thread. No matter how many times educated people say that aluminum is safe to smoke from and that it doesn't cause alzheimer's disease, people always carry on the myth. As it was said before, cans are NOT safe to smoke off of because of the paint, however.

Please take the time to educate yourselves about aluminum, do not carry on myths simply because you are too lazy to research for yourselves.

Way to go sounds sick man! You'll never regret it glass is the best hands down

  7. You live in SC? Go to a headshop. Glass chillum, 7 bucks.

  8. Incorrect, this discoloration is due to oxidation of what ever is in the air touching your extremely hot AL foil. This oxidation however can build up a lot of nasty chemicals on your can and you do not want to inhale those. Also, AL will not combust until it reaches a very high temperature, However, this does not mean the metal is not giving off fumes. The combustion point is the absolute max for the metal to burn, before that though that 0.01 residue left over will combust as well as a few aluminum atoms here and there when the outside is oxidized giving off harmful vapors.

That being said, if you ARE 18, and you have money to smoke weed. Then go to your LHS or local porn/sex shop and get one of these:
