Are these lights to close and does this look leggy?

  1. They just sprouted today a couple of them didnt yet I germinated in a cup of water for a day then straight to soil. Today is day 4 they've been in soil. Just wondering if I had the light pulled off to far from them at first, it's a hydrofarm t5. 20190306_205022.jpg 20190306_204936.jpg

  2. Nope. 2-3" away at all times. They can take it.

  3. Awesome i got a problem with this stupid exhaust fan. It's a 4 inch active air and I cant for the life of me figure out how the hell do I get it to be able to hang in my tent? Theres two brackets that just totally seem outta place and still no way to hang it even if I could get then on.

  4. I just stuff mine through the hole and run a band of duct tape around that thing with the pull strings so it adheres to the fan.

I can't see the fan in your setup though.

  5. I think ima just order a strap and wrap it around the metal legs and just rig it somehow just feels like an extra pain wondering if my larger ones are gonna be the same..

  6. Usually you mount them outside the tent and use ducting lol. Didn't know what you had. My bad.

  7. So what I should mount it to the roof? I'm really trying to do minimal damage I'm setting up at the guest house but it's not gonna be a permanent operation maybe a few years till I can get a secret bunker or something cool

  8. Mount it to a 2x4. Lay the 2x4 across the top of the tent and hook up the ducting. The 2x4 should lay a few inches past each edge of the tent so the weight lays on the bars.

  9. Ah good idea I should have a spare 8 foot landscape timer leftover from the garden thanks

  10. Stick ur hand above plants. If it gets uncomfortable than its too close
