I found some lights on ebay, they fit a regular socket, use 2 watt emitters at 600nm and 445nm, and cost about 50 cents per watt. Heres a link: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/1-5-10-pcs-3x2w-Led-Grow-Light-E27-GU10-2x-red-660nm-1x-blue-445nm-6W-led-light-/251233341279?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&var=550216249173&hash=item3a7eac8f5f What do you guys think? 3 watt emitters and 460nm would be better, but they seem deadly cheap for what they claim. BTW Im only going for 6 plants in a 4x2 area so its not unrealistic to aim for 15-20 watts/sq ft with these bulbs.
because of the price, i would think that they bulbs are just colored red and blue, rather than actually produce red and blue spectrum.
