Are these healthy roots?

Many just use a few drops of bleach per gallon

Very slightly, but add bleach prior to adding your ph down. Problem solved.

I don't do hydro anymore, so hard to remember all the blades who do.

 

no ,, I don't use anything ,, I have hydro guard but stopped using it .
But I got better control on the temp of roots now ..
I added a chiller and a new A/C system in my house .

 

That was why I moved from doing dwc. I never could keep a good temp range.
Felt like little red riding hood. Always too hot, too cold, but never just right.

Soil all the way now a days

 

my plants grow too fast for me to switch back to soil …

 

I make pain meds out of the roots ,,, like my morning tea .

 

Luckily I don't require mine for pain meds yet. But do use it for mental.
The terps from soil seem to work better for me, but that's entirely subjective.

 

My root temp use to run 3 degrees F warmer then my inside tent temp .
That's with a 350 gph pond pump making bubbles ...
Excessive , yes ,,, but the pumps have the best filtration system ..

 

As long as your happy with you harvest that's what counts ..
Seems to be thousands of different ways to grow ..and growers should be united ..

 

This is my first grow using regular bleach and have found 2 drops per gal twice a week is more than enough for my 8gal res.

Never had a heater or chiller in the res though, is at the mercy of the outdoor air temp and never had res temp issues myself, but im in a cooler climate!
