Ok, I've searched google and tried this site's search function, but need help. I've found a stall selling seeds from a few different companies, feminised Sensi Seeds, a pack of 10 being £55, which I believe is a good price and one I would pay, as opposed to buying and having them sent to my adress. But the question is 1. If seeds have been kept for too long are they useless? 2. And if so, would there be a date on the packet so I can tell before I buy them? Thanks in advance
Seeds can be kept for years if stored properly. Probably not, but you can always ask how fresh they are. Good luck.
Seeds can last a very long time. I just germinated some seeds which were over 20 yrs old. I had 5 out of the 6 germ and they are growing just fine. I have not heard of any place that actually dates the packets, however I have not purchased seeds for a very long time.
