they are governed by (from the first world angle) overzealous radicals...this creates computational problems for war game scenarios because unpredictability takes a big hike...
naw man, you asked for a legit reason, this was one i thought of... and here is a rebuttal....gives you two angle to think about i guess...
They're skin is dark. They talk weird. Their women don't show their tits. There's nothing in Iran but dirt and concrete. Oh wait you needed reason to be SCARED of them.. Sorry I just want to bomb them
The US doesn't, however, Lebanon, Palestine and Israel do. Iran directly funds, equips, and trains Hamas, which is at odds with the more moderate (sane) Palestinian Authority. They also are the godfather of Hezbollah, which is currently wreaking havoc in Lebanon. Israel's gotta watch out because Hamas and Hezbollah, in their infinite insanity, keep starting wars with it, using Iranian ideology, money, and arms.
Yea, I mean, you don't even need to talk about war games. Iran could probably mess up our computational models for predicting the trends of the oil market and that would be enough reason for the US to invade. IMO, messing up computation models and being difficult to predict is not a good reason to invade a country and endangering the lives of tens of millions innocent people.
lol, dude, do you think the us armed forces (or any armed force worth its salt) is gonna move without getting the ok from simulated scenarios?......no need for war games?...cmon dude
well, if today a war broke out with iran, id say the us would win...the window of opportunity could be closing though, what with the nuclear program iran has....if they do manufacture nukes, then winning the war would become, imo, a moot question because of the major shift in power positions... of course one needs to factor in unknown military technologies as well...although this is not very easy because, well, we dont know what sort of capabilities the as armed forces have..and speculating on this just goes on and on...
Iran is FAR from becoming a threat to the US.Their nuclear program is as advanced as the Manhattan Project.Yes they are that far behind. Not just that, but only because you have a nuke doesn't mean you can use it. You see delivery is half the game in nuclear warfare,no country besides Russia has anything capable of reaching US soil and detonating. We have the means to deploy, deliver and execute nuclear warfare anywhere in the world at any time.We also have the means to intercept the most advanced delivery methods. THAT is why Iran is not gaining any rank as a nuclear power anytime soon.
if this were true, i would be rather upset...the manhattan project resulted in nukes, and i dont think they are there....they have problems with getting their shit enriched (russia does a certain amount of this for them though)...then again russia does this saying they are doing it help irans peaceful quest for atomic energy yadayadayada but russia is NOT a friend of the us....
How are they a danger to US interest when our interest consist of: "Shut up and fucking die you foreign bastard"!!!!
They fund and assist muslim terror and extremist groups that openly target U.S. UN and whoever they deem necessary. Its also a wide consensus that they are building the research and development for nuclear weapons. People will say they aren't and Ahmadinijad will say they're not with their inviting people to tour their facilities but they are not showing them the full picture and just what they want to see. Global satellites and CIA investigation have already uncovered locations of nuclear testing and developing and have them noted. So when the time comes. Apocalypse Now!
What? How is this relevant to my post or even the thread at hand? Do I think we should be basing who we attack on computation models? No, I don't think so. Iran being unpredictable to the US's computational models is not a legitimate reason for the US to attack Iran. ...cmon dude
