I'm visiting and since my girlfriend is at work, I'm going to go out exploring. Since Capitol Hemp got shut down, I'm not sure where to go. Where to? I googled my question and kinda came up with nothing except some B&K Newsstand or something? Fuck, I might not even go. I ain't got nothing to smoke anyways... except shisha and to be honest... ick. Makes me feel sick. It seems kinda sketchy to just ask random college students around the Foggy Bottom area to chop me, especially since I'm Canadian, and have never seen so many police in one area. Any other places (in general) that people can recommend I head to? I was at the African Art Gallery the other day, which was awesome... and I'm going to more Smithsonian exhibits tomorrow I believe, as well as the monuments. Eh B&K isn't worth it. All they have is really cheap China glass. Definitely stop by the Hirshorn Museum tomorrow. My favorite place in DC. If you have access to a car, you can't pass up the drive to Baltimore to go to Karmic Connection in Fells Point. My favorite head shop of all time just cuz they have soooo much unique shit. Oh and go eat at Ben's Chili Bowl
Yeah, a lot of reviews of B&K say it's way overpriced for low-end glass. I think I may have gone there the last time I was here, about a year ago... the staff were rude as fuck. I'm not sure if it was B&K but if that's the only head shop in Georgetown then it probably was. What's the Hirshorn Museum? I guess I can google it. Is it close to other museums? No car, unfortunately. Maybe we could metro it there? I think I may have passed by Ben's Chili Bowl. I'll ask my g/f if she wants to go eat there maybe. She's literally gonna be at work from 12pm till 3 in the morning, no doubt. Probably gonna go there for lunch tomorrow. Thanks for the reply, man.
Hirshorn is next to the National Mall. It's a modern art/sculpture museum. Lots of really cool pieces. And it's FREE! It's pretty much next to every other museum, except for perhaps the Postal Museum Metro doesn't go far enough up to get to Karmic Connection though, unfortunately
Georgetown is an awesome place. I love going there. But im not too sure about headshops anymore. And what smithsonians are you going to. My dad and family work at the natural and american history

There's an abundance of shitty pot in DC. Unfortunately, the "safest" places (meaning without running into a narc) to find any are in southeast DC, and SE is anything but safe for tourists. SE is the slums of DC (not that any other parts are really that much better). You could always try heading to like American University, or even Catholic University and asking around there. That would honestly be your best bet probably.
I was going to go to the Holocaust museum, but my girlfriend didn't want to cuz it was such a nice day and you know, that's some sad shit. Tomorrow I plan to hit a few of them. Definitely going to the one crisp mentioned, but I'll hit the natural and American history museum. Want to me to say hey to your dad? LOL. Thanks dewd. EDIT: What about GWU?
