Are stainless steel heating elements safe?

  1. I want to get the MFLB, and I just found out that the heating element is stainless steel. Do stainless steel heating elements add any harmful chemicals to the vapor or is it safe?

  2. It's safe, stainless steel melts at a temperature of 2750˚F, and you're vaporizing at a temperature of 375˚F, give or take 20˚. You should be more worried about your caffeine intake :p

  3. If I used an MFLB everyday I would be more worried about the constant smell of wood in the vapor.. for sure you are inhaling SOMETHING if you can smell that wood..
