Are reccomendations from 420 Evaluations legit?

    Recently got my medical cannabis card. I have trouble gaining weight (celiacs) and suffer gastrotestinal problems. I went to 420 evaluations in San Jose becasue it's close and I only paid $89 for my ID and rec.
     
    My questions are: Is it a legit rec? I heard no one on the streets or your neighbor could honestly tell. Not unless you get screwed and end up in court and the judge decides the validation. Is that true?
     
    Also, will this bite me in the ass one day? I'm not planning to enlist or work for the government.. Been wondering as well if other doctors can see the rec. I don't currently have a regular doctor I see because of financial issues over the years and lack of insurance. When I can, will the doctor see that I use MMJ? Will they care?
