Hello all, I have a friend who thinks you don't need to use nutrients, he wants to get as much bud as possible, and he just uses Miracle Grow (a soil with added nutrients). My question would be, is this really the most efficient way to grow bud? and would using specialist nutrients yield more bud ?
Hey sorry, i wasn't really asking for a soil only alternative, just whether using nutrients in general helps yield better.
Yes the living plant will need nutrients one way or another. We have a number of options on how we can make the nutrients available to a plant and the link I posted is 1 way which also requires little to no feeding during the plant's life.
if you go with some poop potting soil it will need nutrients. If you want to do no nutrient mixing and feeding and ph and all that jazz, then you are looking for water only. Which is what JMosley posted. Nutrients are needed, much like how you need your vitamins or else your hair will fall out from an iron deficiency.
