Hey all, I currently got a indica of some sort growing outdoors, I planted it around the 9th of March and the flowers seem to be growing quite fast but I'm a bit worried if they won't finish growing because it's getting colder where I am (it's going to be winter next month (June)). I heard when cannabis plants flower they have a massive growth spurt? Not too sure. I have some pictures I'll post, the plant is around 15inch tall. I also have a homemade green house on it not sure if it works real well tho .
Sorry man you won’t be harvesting much of anything from that. If winter is next month it doesn’t even have time to finish. Looks like it has pests, nutrient, and other problems. The plant is basically a loss, next time I’d read up on hours of daylight in your area so you can get a good veg, and read some threads here on basic plant care.
Had a feeling, it still a constant 19-20°c here. If it does end up finishing how much bud do u rekon I could harvest? Under a half oz or something?
You will be lucky to get 2 grams of immature buds. Sorry man. You are totally wrong on the timing. They need to be timed right outdoors. But. If you go as long as possible you can harvest and get a few bong rips from it Eagleyedye
I'll be the contrarian here: While your timing for planting in the Southern hemisphere should have been more like November, is there any real downside to staying with it? If nothing else, you will learn some of the basics by following through to harvest. 19-20 C is cool but not cold, so I'd leave it outside for now but move to your greenhouse if temperatures drop much below 15C. You may want to move it to a large pot now to facilitate moving to your greenhouse when the time is right. Or maybe your green house can be rigged up around the plant in situ? The grasscity forums are rich with people who will help recommend nutrients and ways to manage pests. Roughly what is your location in the Southern Hemisphere?
Well, it depends on whether or not you plan to move your plant to your greenhouse when the weather turns cold.
Yd Yeah I'll have to leave it in the ground. Some of the hairs are turning orangebtoo but there's still alot of white hairs .Not sure what to do
