are glass pipes harsh on the lungs?

    i've smoked a few apple pipes and didn't like them because they were too harsh. are pipes like this as harsh??

    i think everything feels harsher at first, but after a little while you get used to it

    If your interested in grabbing some glass, do it. Even if your hits are harsh, just open your mouth to mix clean air with the smoke as you inhale. With a pipe, I'd say its definitely easier than an apple to do. Its what I did hitting my one hitter while hiking in the desert to avoid coughing

    It's not if it's glass or not - although metal pipes are always harsh. That's a given.

    It's whether it's a dry pipe or not. That is a basic glass spoon and will get hot quick maybe a little slower than a chillum.

    If you want cool then you want a vape but if you don't have the cash then you want water. And once water gets old you'll want displacement. And when a bigger volume base gets old you'll want percolation.
