Just remember that Jesus was a real person that asked people to open there eyes to the love and compassion of believing in a God. Also remember that he was killed by the same state that is now the central head for the nation of Christendom. Ive read stuff about how the Vatican helped finance part of the nazi's ties with Brazil and stuff as well as the last pope being an ex member of the nazi party himself, however almost all youths from that era that are still alive now could infact be considered ex nazi's, since conscriptions were indeed mandatory in nazi Germany at the age of 14 and above. I will also point out that the medieval Vatican actually had a big resentment for the Holy Roman Empire today known as Germany, however those era's are widely apart in reforms in the days of Pope Gregory VII.
Yeah it's incredibly ironic that the Roman Empire, the nation that crucified Jesus on grounds of internal security (he was seen as a potential revolutionary) would be used as the vessel to spread Christianity through the Eastern Hemisphere after Emperor Constantine's conversion in the early 300s. As for The Vatican and Pope Benedict's military service, the Vatican is made up of human beings, people just as noble, as flawed, as fucked up as the rest of us. As many accounts as you have of Bishops helping escaped Nazis flee from justice, you have Bishops and Clergymen helping countless Jews and other Nazi targets get to safety.Benedict was part of the Hitler Youth, a paramilitary social organization which was mandatory for all German boys as the HY trained them in things such as field craft, military regulations, and later on combat tactics and small arms training as well as taking them to swimming holes, and regular summer camps, etc. Think of it as Boy Scouts meets the Army, as the war drew on and turned against the Germans the minimum call-up age for men were lowered and the max age limit increased. HY members initially were drafted in huge numbers to help man anti aircraft (flak) batteries, known as flakhelfers (translated to 'flak helpers'). Many of these poor kids were at the very end of the war forced into urban combat against the Soviets, who many times showed no mercy. Benedict was a flakhelfer, a child soldier, not a Nazi.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

2.  Lol, bro.  The vatican protects child-molesters.  I'm pretty sure the new pope enjoyed raping and killing.

no need to dwell on history, the dude was obviously asking about modern history. though i do agree with you, if you want to go back a bit further.

4.
The fine line between those that didn't know & knew God's will.

5. No, American Christians aren't smart enough to orchestrate all of that.

6. No,  I am a Gnostic Christian which believes a little different then most Christians.  One thing we believe in is they left parts out of the bible that should of gone in.  Gnostics Christians believe seeking god is more important then finding god by a certain dogma or belief.  To us its more important to seek god threw all kinds of knowledge rather then just believe.  The place to find god is with in oneself, not in externals like beliefs, dogma, or dictates of the church.

My mother was institutionalized in a Methodist boarding school.  She was taken by force from her family and placed in this school hundreds of miles from her home.  She did not speak English.  She was beaten every time she spoke her own tongue.   She was tortured when she made mistakes in class.  Even a piano lesson was punished with rulers to the knuckles.  To the day she died she would stay away from the piano.  It held nothing but hate and fear for her.

This was widespread abuse.  Among a kaleidoscope of different sects.  All in the name of Christianity.  Kill the "Indian" and save the man was the mantra back then.  Regardless of sectarian differences the abuse was the same.  You can point fingers at the Catholics all you want but it was almost all Christian sects involved in this shameful era of American history.

8. First off Christians have been around before nazis so if anything nazis would have been the new Christians. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum

9. It is the democrat party that closely resembles the early nazi party.

Sent from my fucking phone.

10. Okay I dislike every person of every faith, simply because they think they are 100% right.

I mean I don't give a fuck what you believe, but you are NOT right.

You have NO IDEA what the meaning of life is/how we got here/insert retarded creationist question here.

I am not Atheist, I am not Christian, I am not anything.

BECAUSE NO ONE IS RIGHT.

11.
If you really believe that then you need to take some history classes on the rise of Nazi Germany.   That was a comment either made in complete ignorance or with a partisan agenda.   It is patently false.
They may have done it with a christian mentality but if anything, they are more related to Catholicism and had ties to the Vatican. True christianity, the relationship to the God-head surpasses religion in aspect of bylaws and predatory behavior. They use the name of God to take offense but in reality, this was no divine act nor was it Godlike. What you are talking about is paganism infiltration into modern day Christianity. That is a discussion on its own entirely. M3ssenger
absolute load of rubbish "true christians" this is a blatant attack on catholics well sorry to burst your bubble but the crusades were pre reformation so that periods irrelevant but white anglo saxon protestants have carried out many genocides (eg Cromwell in Ireland) and many racist attacks (eg KKK)
Conscription in the Wehrmacht is one thing, actively joining the Nazi Party in Germany during the 30 s and 40 s was something completely different. The regular armed forces actively discouraged political participation, part of the reasoning behind Hitler creating the SS, he wanted a military force that would answer to The Party , and ultimately himself, alone Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

17. Nazis still exist and are exclusively christian. And so no...the blanket group of Christians are not the new Nazis. Haven't you seen the white trash with swastikas tattooed on their arms and things like "Jew killer" tattooed on their necks? Nazis are the same as they have been since the 30's but they Dont represent all Christians by a long shot.

18. I dont think 90 percent of you understand what "nazi" actually means.

Nazis are nothing more than german nationalist socialists.

Hitler and his SS gestapo were the real monsters.

What cracks me up, is the current USA actually mirrors Nazi Germany in such an uncanny manner.

Hm, oh gee, i wonder just who else could be a nationalized socialist in the midst of a power trip that uses political iconography, and also used the characteristic "hope, and change" ruse to brainwash the already mentally bankrupt and previously demoralized populous... ?

And if you look in the mirror, you'll see who's no different than the rest of the non-combatant Nazi Germany troops.  Welcome to reality.  It sucks ass, doesn't it?

Look up 'Positive Christianity', it was an actual Nazi sponsored 'Christian' beliefSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
