The CAN brand filter seem to be far more expensive than similar carbon filter with the same CFM. Is there something special about them?
.... make your own... filters are expensive... making your own is less than a third of the cost... filters are filters... they all work.. why spend more if you don't have to i know im not answering your specific question... but i really am helping
I haven't tried any brand other then CAN so I can't say for certain they're better but the reason I use them is because I KNOW they work and I won't have to worry about it. Also IMO it's not worth the risk making one yourself, especially since filters really aren't that expensive considering how much you save growing your own.
