I know that most of the online marketing, survey, make 100 bucks in 10 minute scams are mostly just that, a scam. But I figured I would ask some people who know how to manage money, stoners. My question being, Are there any budding (lol budding ) entrepreneurs out there who have gotten the luxury of riding the online cash cow? I have thought about consulting, blogging, or even surveys but most Google searches result in an ocean of responses and most look like crap right off the bat. Are there any legitimate opportunities out there? I posted this in Pandora's Box because I feel like some people would think that I'm using this for advertisement purposes. But I'm merely being inquisitive as I'm a marketing major here at school. In reality I'm just a broke college kid who takes a lot of classes but doesn't have a car and doesn't feel like working on campus for $7.15 an hour right now. Of course, I do realize that college is when you're supposed to be broke and working crappy jobs. I'd love to hear a new alternative to that in this "web world" that we live in. Although if nothing comes up I'll most likely be working at the Library or something. Cheers.
Most likely, if you are going to make money online you have to make it with an original idea not riding on some1 elses coattails. Maybe buy/sell on eBay, maybe start your own different domain. %99 percent of the web seems geared to seperating you from your money - if you do somethin that sets you apart you may have a chance. There are lots of little successfull web business that get by with a modicom of success (i assume), even its just acting as a portal or other actual web-retailers. Maybe try somethin small and see where it takes you, the lessons learned can help you for your future. Opportunity does knock sometimes, and when it does it will be a gamble that youll have to take. In many cases you have to make you own opportunities. Good luck I hope your marketing coarses learn you sumpin' good.
That's a joke, right? lol There's too many "I have no money, but I need weed" posts for that to be remotely possible, haha
Owning your own site can make you money if you're lucky, but apart from that yes, all the money making schemes are pure scams.
you obvioulsy dont know what the fuck you guys are talking about. I joined one of those do-offers-get paid sites. The very first one, I worked for maybe 2 hours 3 days a week for 6 weeks, and managed to get myself a 32'' lcd tv. Yes it was a cheap one, but hey, i barely had to pay anything for it. Eventually the site got overwhelmed with members, and started losing profit and shut down. The second site i went to, I've made about $600. cash. About $250 of that I actually worked for, the rest is from referrals (gave ppl my link, the site gives me %20 of what the person i referred makes) and from winning bonuses. The site is really cool, they have weekly $1000 drawings, monthly Wii/PS3/Xbox360/iphone/etc contests, etc etc. Pm me or post here if you want proof or want a link to the site. They pay via paypal if you do get any money. You make money by entering your email address (make .50 to $1.50) and others you just clikc a ton of yes/no buttons and get paid more. If you want to make more cash faster, you could do the free trial offers (pay the shipping/handling) and you get over $10 per offer. Again, this isnt fake, pm me if you want the details. Sound too good to be true, but it isnt just sign up and make money. Yes, you'll get to a point like i did where you just make over $50 a month from your referrals, you dont have to do anything. Also good if you're home sick a lot or can't work. Many on the same site's forums have earned over $1500, but they've been at it for a couple months.
