AR-15 vs AK-47

    well i finaly saved up a little bit of money and i decided its time to invoke my 2nd admt rights

    so...basicly what one should i get? an AR-15 or an AK-47?

    i am leaning more towards the AK

    Well the AK is more durable but it is also heavier.

    AR is better suited for optics and has better iron sights.

    AR has a higher range (400 yards for the AK, 600 for the AR).

    AR is more accurate.

    AK has more muzzle energy.

    Get the AK, there's a reason people still keep them around. and then you'll ave a chopper in the car HUH

    One of each. The chopper is fun to go out in the woods and blast with. Where as I'd use in the AR in more of a end of the world scenario. However, I highly recommend getting a Saiga 12 As well. The saiga and Ak have the same stock models. Thus this atf approved slide fire stock will do you wonders.

    i'd rather havw the AR-15. my buddies in arkansas had a bunch of em they were a blast to shoot

    People PLEASE read the rules - there is ABSOLUTELY no firearm discussion allowed on GC. EVERYONE posting on a firearm here is getting a warning/infraction.
