  1. i was wondering if the plant & aquarium wide spectrum fluorescent lights are worth using of should i switch them to something else for veg ?

  2. they will work if you have enough of them for veg...
how many lights do you have?
    how many k?
    how many lumens?
    how many plants?

and you know you'll have to get different for flowering..

  3. right now i have two 4' fixtures and 5 20" tubes not sure of the k of the lumens all lights i found around the house, i have 5 plants that seem to be doing well just a little stretched i am going to use the lights i have now and just add some 2700k cfl for flowering

  4. well i can't tell you how they'll work without that info... sorry bro...

  5. If they are the proper K temp they will work, but aquarium lights are usually a no go. Would be best to pick yourself up some 6500K CFL's or fluro tubes, this way you know that what you have is recommended.

  6. the 48" bulbs produce 1900 lumen's at 3100k and the smaller 20" 900 lumen's does this help any?

  7. 3100K is for flower, not veg.
