Hello everyone, So I was up late last night, contemplating a good irrigation system for my indoor setup when I saw a commercial for these things called Aqua Globes. http://www.buyaquaglobes.com/ I would like to have a very cheap and easy way to water my plants, because ideally I only want to check on them every 3 or 4 days. I just wanted some opinions from some more experienced growers on whether this is worth it, will it work well with this particular type of plant, or is there a cheaper alternative? Thanks alot guys for any help.
couldn't you possibly put 1 of those in to feed it tho? I mean say you fed your babies before work with one of those and came back after and put another in the ground. couldn't that work okay?
well if you buy them and it doesnt work out, you at least have one of the largest tweak pipes ive ever seen
My wife saw them and got some for the houseplants. We have lots! The bulbs appear to be working properly. The plants are drawing water. We have had them only a week so I cannot really say for sure how well they work in the long run, plant health will be the truth teller. I don't know if they a really a time saver. They fill up slowly but they extend the time you can leave the plant alone. I will try to remember to post on this thread in a week or two and we should know by then how the plants like them.
I too bought these aqua globes, so far theyve just been sitting underneath my bed. I plan on using them for when I start growing outdoors so I won't have to walk to my grow spot everyday and water them. Does anyone know if these could work for outdoor growing?
Cheap alternative: Fill a plastic drinks bottle with nutes/water/whatever. Punch hole at bottom with common sewing pin Done. The liquid will flow out slowly, if it isn't fast enough for you make it slightly larger or unscrew the bottle cap slightly.
