Okay, so my friend just moved into this new place and luckily, all utilities are paid ; thats gas, water and ELECTRIC. Now, my friend went around to the back of the building and hes under the impression that the tenants aren't tracked individually for electricity, and that the owner is billed for the buildings electricity as a whole. Why? Well he only saw one meter for the entire building. So, could this be true? Is this how some buildings work? Is it something they are trying to modernize (It is an old school building)? Or is that some main meter and all the other tenants meters are somewhere else? Im asking this because is my friend is right then...CHA CHING!!!!! Im quitting my job tomorrow and moving in. One more question that i hope doesnt get me flammed... in LA, hollywood to be more specific, what would a "suspicious" light bill be? I understand that its the change in your bills consistency that gets you caught, but if your consistently at a "suspicious" monthly amount month after month, that'll get you caught too. So what would be pushing it in terms of being consistent, and which supplies would help with optimal yield potential/electric bill costs (doesnt matter if your in hollywood or not).
im pretty sure an exra AC would put out way more elecricity than lighting for ur MJ y not blame the electricity problem on that??
weather its one meter or not, its nothing to quit your job over. theres no way you could control the odor of more than 5/10 plants in an appartment. especially if they come in to service the AC/heat change the filter etc...
Thats surprising there's only one meter. Do you have electric heat? Remember also that most apt's aren't wired up for more than 60-100amps. So don't go tripping any breakers
dude dont be so paranoid over that. as long as you pay the dam bills you got nothing to worry about. cops just dont look for power usage from houses unless they are tipped off. but as long as you pay the bill the hydro companies will never go to the cops. they are making money from you. it would be like the cable company going to the cops because you watch too much tv. makes no sense. but just dont run like 10,000 watts of lights all on a routine like 12/12 18/6 they will get suspicous. but as long as you got a backup story for when they knock on your door asking about your usage, or a phone call. if u got a good excuse they won't go to the cops and you won't get caught. i got some tricks up my sleeve for not getting caught. start finding ways to hide it, its fun, especially if your high. you could say "your growing lettuce with hydroponics" like the one guy said on the tv show weeds when he went to the bank manager to apply for a loan. LMAO. think of all possible things that could happen and try and make a way to prevent getting caught. if you do that then you can rest easy knowing your not gonna get caught.
My goal is to grow about 15-20 plants in a room. What would a nice setup be for a good bill, maximum yield, and not tripping any breakers be? Well most owners dont give a fuck what you do once your renting as long as you dont bother them, so the smell doesnt bother me at all ( even though i will have 2 oreck air purifiers and maybe one homemade vent). That and the fact that I can grow up to 12 plants because I have a MMJ card good for another year. Man, thats how people get caught. THinkin they have a master plan in place and they can relax. When you arent paranoid and get cocky or lazy/relaxed, and you fuck up. So thats one way i prevent myself from being caught right there, never relaxing, always thinking. BTW, that was a funny episode. Even though I have an MMJ card and im pretty much covered, I still want the electricity issue to be dealt with so things go even smoother.
