ok here are some pics of my plants ,been under 12/12 600w hps light for around 5 weeks now feeding bio-bloom every 2-3 days ,what ya all think?
yer there doing good ,i did burn the top cola on one of the plants a few weeks back but i just cut the burnt leaves and a little bud and it seemed to heal itself ,i also trimed alot of the fan leaves off a few days ago as they were blocking the light to the under buds,seems to have worked a treat as they have growm good sicne i cut the fans off.
also i was going to start flushing after next feed ,so around 7 days time flush for 10 days ,this sound ok or would you guys say i still have more growing too do???
Probably 3 more weeks, maybe even more. Depends on the strain, but typical flowering time is 8-10 weeks (usually from the initial presence FLOWERS, not from 12/12 light switch) You should go get yourself a microscope of some kind, either a pocket one from RadioShack or a jewelers loupe...20X at least for the best picture. With that you can see the trichomes on your buds, which will tell you when to harvest. Clear Trichs = Not ready yet! Cloudy Trichs = Heady/~Sativa buzz, almost done Amber Trichs = Couchlock/~Indica buzz, basically done. Check out the stickies in the Harvesting section, they will tell you all you need to know. Looking great, though. They will fatten up like hell in the next few weeks, dude. Congrats!
i belive they are ak-47 strain but am not 100% sure i was given these plants just when they were in veg stage ,as soon as i got them i started 12/12 with some bio-bloom ...
no not too sure on that either man ,i dient even know anything about growing untill i got these plants ,i was given 3 800w ballests 4 400 wat hps bullbs 6 600 wat hps bulbs 4 1000 wat hps bulbs and the 3 plants ,i could of had 18 plants the same as these but dident have the means too get them moved ,wish i would of tryed a bit harder now by looking at these now
well to cut a long story short . i was sitting on my balcony browesing the net around 2am when i seen some young kids (18-19)running past my home with large plant pots with plants in them ,so i shout down what the fuk is going on and the kids they stop and drop plants ,i go down and chase them off ,next day am up at b7am leaveing for work so i take the garbage out and to my amazement ,all the gear was lieing there by my garbage ,now dont get me wrong am no fuker and thought ,this is someones grow ,so i call a few guys and ask if anyone had been robbed ,nothing in the area had been bust ,so thee you have it all for free . there was 18 plants in total but i dident have the time or means too move them all in time so a coulpe of my freinds tokk 3-4 each,i kept all the lights ect ,there plants have since died due too keeping outside in the cold uk weather. strange story i know but true.
That is wild. A dream come true, for real. You've got equipment for a couple years worth of harvests...wow. You are incredibly lucky. I'm always on the lookout for shit like this, but alas...my luck has already run out it seems.
talk about a godsend lol can i buy one of your lights off you for cheap i only have a 250watt MH thats been thru too many seasons. im scared of using it again for the sake it may cause a fire lol but like my sig says, the recession has me broke.
lol yes i count myself very lucky for this ,after doing some asking around i foind out that there were 6 more lights and a shit load of bulbs too ,there were takein by the police i belive so if i used my head i could of had a great great set up with a huge yiled in the next comeing month ,but hay i cant complain with what i ended up with ...
and the crazy thing is i dont even smoke weed all this is for educaional perpose seriouly i dont smoke the stuff..
