Just went out shopping and stopped off in a local newspaper/magazine/tobacco/candy store. Nobody else was in the store but the guy behind the register, and one mellow-looking guy glancing at the magazines. The only thing the customer did was take a look at the most popular magazine about weed. Damn, I need to meet some local people who are into our favorite plant, and should have said something, either there or outside the store, or at least given him my Email. Oh well, with spring coming there'll be other opportunities. :p

  2. You should have said something to the dude. If there is something you obviously both have in common or can talk about, the conversation will flow. Just remember, all your friends were once strangers. :)

  3. Yeah, just say something to him. If you end up looking stupid, he's a stranger, so it's all good. Just be yourself.

Say "That's a nice magazine you got there"

Don't say that. Just go with the flow.
