There's a Medusa's and High Times in my city along with other head shops, i always wanted to work in one since I started smokin' the herb. I'm 19, is there an age restriction to work at one? If so, do tell, also it'd be helpful if you guys can include some risks and benefits of working at a headshop :O ps,. sorry for some bad grammar, just smoked some pineapple kush and I'm feelin' it
i've never personally worked at a headshop, but i would think that the major downside to working at a place like that is that it will show up on your past places of employment whenever other places go to do a background check on you. potential future employers might associate that with you being a stoner. i think that's kind of stretch though. i can't imagine any place not hiring you in the future because you used to work at a headshop lol. i think that's really the only potential downside to working there. other than that, it's a pretty chill place where you can work with stoners, talk to customers that are stoners, get high before/while working. it definitely seems like it would be a cool job to have
also, as long as you're over 18, you can work at a headshop/smoke shop. you're selling tobacco and tobacco related items, so it won't matter that you're under 21.
