My Moto Droid handles multitasking just fine. It's a snappy phone. The issue isn't whether or not the iPhone can handle multitasking...it clearly can. It's a powerful little machine. This issue is that Apple is holding out on multitasking for reasons which they have no good response to...just like the iPhone not being able to support MMS when it first came out, when even the cheapest of cellphones can. Just like Apple locking down the operating system and killing apps which do things that the iPhone can, just better, or apps that do things the iPhone can't do at all. Lets not even get started on copy/pasting. A business oriented phone that couldn't support copy/paste. Get the fuck out of here. And then they blacklist all the apps that supported it before Apple had a chance to add it in.
