Ok, I need so make room in my box and I'm gonna pull my smallest northern lights. It's been crazy small compared to the rest of the plants throughout most of its growth. They've all been into flower for about 2 weeks so there are some tiny little buds present. Can I get any smokable use out of this plant or is she just a loss? Thanks all!
you are pulling it for more space so the other plants can get bigger? or because its a small plant and you dont like the little guy?
You can't really smoke that after only 2 weeks of flower. You can, but if you get anything its going to be extremely couch lock since its not anywhere close to being ripe.
No hate here! Just need more lateral space for the bigger girls. All my seeds were feminized so I hope they're all girls. They all look similar and I'm not finding any of the balls people talk about.
You should let it finish. They are pretty much done growing after about the 2nd or 3rd week of flowering. They will start to pack on bud or flowers instead.
I've considered that. I just thought if I got rid of the runt, the branches of the others could open up a little and receive more light. But ya...maybe I'll just leave it and hope the colas get fat since the under buds wont see much light.
Do you have any other plants that are of the same strain which are growing with those plants? Basically meaning, are you growing more than one northern lights plants? I tend to like variety myself meaning that the more flavors of weed you got the better. Thats why I wouldn't pull it unless you got another Northern Lights growing.
Well, if you can, throw it outside. Otherwise, give it a week and make some hash(if you can give it a week). And also, immature bud gives you a heady high. As the trichomes turn amber, the cannabinoids break down into cbd and gives a couchlock high.
Thanks for all the input. I guess I'll let her stay in the box and see what she does. She is one of six plants. 4 northern lights (2 good sized, 1 small, and 1 TINY), an MK-Ultra, and a Sage. Northern lights are smallest by far (as expected). The MK and Sage were freebies and they are out growing my northern lights by leaps and bounds!
