Hi, Have a couple of plants that are 28 days young today. Indoor closet grow in Ireland, soil, cfl lights. They've are now 12 days into a 12/12 light cycle, I started it early as I don't have a huge amount of space so I didn't want them growing too big. Anyway, one of them has started to show preflowers of a female nature (*2 in the pictures below) so yay! But the other (*1 in the pictures) hasn't shown anything yet. They are both from feminized seeds I bought from an online bank so both theoretically should be female... It is taller and more stretched than *2, and I don't seem to be able to see any sure signs of it being male yet so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. It is a different strain than *2 so that should account for the aesthetic difference I'm hoping. However, it's my first grow so I haven't a clue what I'm talking about If you experienced blades can check out the photos below maybe ya might be able to spot something I can't and tell me if I should be chucking it out?!
Both girls? That would be great! I just thought the growth around the nodes on *1 looked a bit, ahem, ballsy? Especially in the 4th photo? Maybe it's just too early to tell I guess, I'm sure it'll become more prominent in the coming weeks, just hope I can nip it in the bud before it's too late... Hoho, bet that's prob the millionth time that pun's been used on these forums.
It's female but here's some useful info on sex. http://forum.grasscity.com/absolute-beginners/873879-how-tell-whether-your-plants-male-female.html
