Once in a great while but the 360 version is plagued with ISO modders that ruin the game with god mode and smgs that shoot rockets
So is the PC version apparently, lots of fun when you can't kill anyone in death match. Got it for 5 bucks on steam summer sale thinking GTA 4 multiplayer how could you go wrong, first 5 matches I played no one was dieing sept me who was unaware that everyone else plays with god mode for some reason. Made a free roam server to have people join maybe that'll work out for me....First 3 people who join all enable god mode.
Nope. Traded it in recently. Online was a fucking disaster. When I played(xbox) I would always be taken to the same few rooms with the same people. And all the goddamn modders ruined it. They almost legitimately broke y xbox and microsoft never even got back to me not even a generic email. 1 out of every 1000 modders are cool. They will spawn cars you want and make ramp. But 99% of them freeze the game adding hundreds of useless shit. And even though they can't be killed if you even shoot at them they flip shit and insta kill you every time you spwan. There were times this happened every single morning I played before work. I'd get on, they'd start talking shit and insta kill me for ten minutes until they froze me out. All i want to do is drive around with other people having fun. I don't play video games to get pissed off.
Got it when it first came out, back then it was sooo much goddamn fun. Barley any modders then. Me n my bot, we'd go in free roam an he'd just drive, I'd be in the passenger seat and we'd just fuckin merk everyone in the room. Good times.
Yep. I like to just drive around in cool cars/cycles etc. I'll be minding my own business and some asshole will chase me down in his invincible car that can fly and go from 0 to 300mph in a second for the rest of the game. Then there's those guys who have the command to teleport everyone in the game to the airport. You'll be doing your own thing, then the next thing you know you're in a 16 car pile up at the airport and have to escape from a hail of rockets. I really hope Rockstar does something about it in V.
