it's the game that Ness from Smash Bros is from. the entire game is like a drug trip that some guys at Nintendo made while on shrooms, acid, and 'special' riceballs. other than that, it plays similar to the older Final Fantasy games. the visuals and music are so trippy it's like WHAT. the game itself is pretty fun too. you also drink coffee and tea with acid in it, and "magic" cake baked with shrooms. A++++ game I would recommend
i fuckin LOVE Earthbound! watched my friend play it as a kid then played thru it myself. i love how realistic it was as far as the kids go. everything after that was crazy, but i still loved it. i remember the music was so weird, especially that one town where everyone becomes a zombie. you could get money from the atm too, ness' dad would call him and tell him that he deposited money in there. i remember watching my frined playin it and as soon as we saw that he was fighting a rabid dog with a baseball bat, we knew we loved this game.
