I bought it with 18,231 mi from a divorced woman who got it as part of the divorce from the hubby, she couldn't even drive it. I'm the 3rd owner and have put 2300 on it according to the trip od0. A vortec would run like 3500$ (in 98 Im not sure about now) and may get the qtr mi to like upper 12's according to other cobra owners with the same set up I'm more of a clean freak than a mod guy, black is bitch but I work at a car wash so prob solved. I had a 1990 Beretta GTZ that I rebuit and did about everything possible to as far as hopping it up. Best et for a 1/4 I had was a 14.1, but I could get low 14s consistently. Yeah I know it's not a 10 second car, but if you know what I'm talking about a 14 is respectable enough. Since then I sold the car and haven't had much of a racer since. Went more in the direction of dB drags instead. I can hit 130-135 dB now which is also pretty damn respectable.

no way man sorry idk where you got your info from, i used to have a 91 si and my friend had a 93 eg and we weighed them both at the track and the crx was over like 300lbs lighter, and he took out misc. shit like back seats and spare tire and b/s like that. i've seen it in person first hand, some websites don't have accurate info but a scale doesn't lie. and back to your car what were you talking about using a full size radiator for when the half sized eg radiator would be plenty big, they use the half sized civic radiators on alot of big turbo dsm's

lol thats the race the vette wanted. and it woulda been worse at the track, that evo went 9.3 at 156 lol it's only making like 700hp too compared to the vette's 900hp. lol and the evo got kicked out of the track on the first trip because it doesn't even have a roll cage at all, its a str8 street car.
evo's are usually thrown in there too because they have a 4g63 in them even though they aren't technically a dsm they share the same motor.
now, that would be the 7 bolt engine known for crankwalking, right? and wouldn't it only be found in the early evo's?
and don't get me wrong i'm not hatting on vette's in any way. its just nice to see a 4cyl import romp on them. a lot of vette driver's give them a bad name by being idiots and arrogant asshole that think there vette is unbeateable.
