I'm a fan of those genres, and i'm just wondering if anyone else here has any artist suggestions thoughts in general.
i listen to oldschool/real hardcore. like, hardcore punk. you can find the link to the biggest punk thread on grasscity in my signature.
while it is oldschool yes, it doesn't make it the only "real" hardcore. i really dislike people like you who bash these genres just because they're a bit different then what you're used to. oh and by the way, i'm not talking about shitty bands like attack attack and all the tween girl shit.
jeez, i didnt even bash it. im just saying like.. real hardcore is real hardcore. metalcore/post hardcore isnt real hardcore.
ok, you're right. it's a sub-genre. whatever. it's still influenced mainly and prominently by hardcore.
