Anyone know how to identify mites?

  1. So a few weeks back I had issues with my plants and the guy at our local hydro garden store told me to scope them for mites. I did and found these guys.

Anyone have info on which mite species it could be? Are they spider mite? (Haven’t found any webbing yet) russet? I have been using Green Cleaner Pesticide and have yet to get rid of them.

  2. The shape looks like spider mites. Most commonly there are two spots on the mites back. Russet mites have an oval body
