Anyone know anything about sleeping problems?

  1. Okay so pretty much my whole life ive been a heavy sleeper. i can sleep for 15 hours straight if i wanted to. Ever since I could remember i've been late for school because i wake up and feel no desire to get up, and sometimes i feel like i cant get up. Keep in mind I do have a heart disease that has contributed to some of my "morning disfunction." Anyway im just curious if i might have a sleeping disorder or something? Espiceally because lately i cant fall asleep, ill lay in bed for a couple of hours, then when i do eventually fall asleep i cant seem to get up the next morning. Its as if not even a house fire would make me want to get up. Also to keep in mind ive been smoking for only about 6 months and i dont think its had any effect on me, although it helps me fall asleep super fast. if i could i would smoke right before i go to sleep, but i live with my parents and thats not an option.

  2. see your doc, i am a chronic insomniac who cycles. like this week since Sunday Morning when i got up at 7 i have slept 7 hours 3 sun night 4 last night, prolly gonna be 3-5 for the next few nights til the pendulm swings back, then tired for a few days. see a doc. at the very least he can give you a xanax or ativan or something to relax you and help you sleep.

  3. yeah i dont want any medication though. i hate medicine. the only medicine id like is from a clinic.... haha.

but thats not what this is even about. getting a card would be nice, but im just trying to figure out if i legitamitley have something.

  4. I have the same problem. As weird as it sounds, breathing works. Use your diaphragm, not your lungs, to inhale. An easy way to practice is to lay on your back with a hand between your nipples and a hand on your belly. When you breathe only the hand on your belly should move.

Just concentrate on breathing for like 10-20 minutes and you will eventually fall asleep.

  5. it is an option, this is what i do nd my parents sleep right next door to me.
put a blaket or towel at the bottom of ur door, light candel so you dont have to spark ur lighter, just hold the lighter up to the candel. open ur window and use a paintball barrel or just rolled up piece of paper to blow ur hit out the window with. i have a smoke detector in my room and have never set it off using this method. also the candel will remove whtever small smell is left (which is normally northing)

  6.

I'm on the complete opposite end of the spectrum as you. I sleep very light, and little.

  7. Its mind over matter man, just use your willpower. I kind of have the same problem as you, I hate getting up in the morning. I hate leaving my nice warm, comfortable bed into my freezing room. I've learned to just push myself up and get it over with.

  8. yeah, sounds good.
