I'm starting a 1000w 18 plants perpetual SOG and had planned on going with a from clone strain from a local dispensary (NorCal) but a buddy of mine offered me twenty "Pink Maui" seeds. I know nothing about this strain. Not even sure if it's Sativa or Indica. ANY info on this strain would be great. Incica? Sativa? Flowering time? Parents? Breeder? SoG capable? I'd just kind of like to get some backround on the strain before I devote my system to it. If anyone can answer any one or more of those questions I'd be a very greatful man. Thanks in advance GrassCity! Keep burnin!
I've seen a couple of pickup threads for it but couldn't find much besides people mentioning it on the web.
Same here. I googled it for about twenty minutes and did find a couple abandoned threads and what not but nothing of any worth. Was hoping an educated farmer with Pink Maui runs under their belt would stumble across this but I'm sure we all know the chances of that happening. May just have to throw a hail mary out and give this strain a chance..

Yeah, looks like I'm just gonna hae to pop em and find out. Might be some FIRE! or it could be complete shit. One way to find out. Thanks for the responses y'all!
I grew it a couple years back on one of my early attempts. Not sure the lineage but it grew like a sativa-ish hybrid. Great bag appeal and good yield, but had some issues with male flowers. Could have been on me I was very new to growing. It actually seeded a Querkle plant i had, which I grew out and posted on here. http://forum.grasscity.com/indoor-m...-1st-hydro-grow-60-days-pics.html#post8513030
Hello,I have been growing Pink Maui now for about 2.5 years and it is a kick ass easy to grow, very hardy plant. Vegetative cycle is about 4 weeks, and the flowering cycle is 8 weeks. I grow at high altitude,so don't know if that makes a difference. I grow in a mix of Fox Farm and Roots Organic, all soil. Very pungent and will flat lay your ass out on the couch! Hope that helps. From what I understand,I am about one of maybe 5 people that grow Pink Maui.
