I've been playing on pacificpoker.com for months now and have won a fair bit of money, I'm just about to start a tournement that I've been waiting up for hours for, and was just wondering if anyone else here plays online, it would be real cool if some of us could meet up online and play against each other (even if not for £$£$) Any Feedback appreciated
i played on ultimatebet ;-) i like online poker, but you can't really read anyone...and it the card system doesn't seem real..but w/e
i love online poker, got a friend who does this, you could almost say its a 2nd job, he makes about a grand every 3-4weeks, its really fucked up, me personally i play low cash stakes lol....ive won 500 here n there but mostly im sticking to my smaller cash games
I play on-line all the time sometime for real money and for play as well. my name is flopmaster9 on pokerstars and foldmaster999 on full tilt. look me up, ill be happy to play you.
It's my primary method of income at the moment. I play on bodog.net and absolutepoker.net (bodog is my favorite, but you can only multi-table 2 games at a time). During the early morning hours you can find me grinding at the $2/$5 PL omaha, or on the .50/$1 NL hold 'em (usually both actually). during the evenings i play a lot of one table $10 SNG's (sit-n-go's), and the occasional big tournament, but those things require a ton of time and just sitting there for up to 6-8 hours (if you don't get knocked out early). The only good things about those big tournaments is that people tighten up their game as the field gets closer to making the money. If i'm in position with a medium sized stack, i'll start moving in with any ace-10 or better, or any pair 8's or better because no one has enough balls to risk busting out in a possible coinflip.
i play party poker, how do you guys play for real money? cuz i tryed to play for real money and they say its illegal to play for real money
certain sites chose to comply immediatly with the october legislation that makes it illegal for financial institutions to transfer funds from U.S. customers to online gambling sites. i think the rest of the sites have until july to comply. soon, all of that dirty illegal and immoral online poker playing will cease (for real money) in the U.S. ones that i know for sure are open: pokerstars.net absolutepoker.net bodogpoker.net pokerroom.com (less sure on this one)
Heres something that just occured to a friend and I while watchin the news..keep in mind im pretty baked. It seems that its okay to torture people and hold them indefinitelty without recourse to the courts HOWEVER it's not okay to play online poker....hmmmm. BUT, then I came to a logical conclusion after thinking about it. Maybe those who play online poker will soon be tortured and held indefinitely without recourse to the courts? Because playing online poker might be supporting terrorism across seas, who knows who really is controlling the assets going to offshore gambling companies?? Therefore this makes every online poker player a terrorist or supporter or terrorism....think about it. Obviously we, the online gamblers, will not be tortured for are actions but I am just trying to make a moral equivalent to online poker
pokerroom.com's already quit. so has hollywoodpoker. the two sites i played on. i hate it, i made about 3-500 a month playing online poker. not a ridiculous sum of money, but enough to help out immensely. sucks.
I play for free, I don't think I'm good enough to play for real money yet. I do www.pokerstars.net... I get up to 30,000 chips frequently (from 1000) but then I go into high stakes games and lose it all in a matter of minutes/hour or two. lol
all you have to do is enter you account and ABA routing number, this is how i withdrawl/deposit from bodog. deposits are available instantly and payouts take 3 business days
sorry i know this thread is sorta old but i'm thewild0ne on pokerstars. i play in 100/200 blinds for play money
i've lost well over $700 in the course of one session, but $700 is my stop-loss limit. (one night of playing), i've won $4000 over the course of a session (6th place in a huge tourney accounted for most of that win. a typical day i'll usually end up 300-400 up from where i started, but there are days that no matter how good you play, you'll end up losing a significant amount
my big day was 1100, started out with me winning a $1000 added freeroll, and then i wrecked some sit-n-go's at 50-100 a pop. I probably could've won more, but i like DVD's too much. I had over 300 when my house got robbed, with a shit-ton of special editions.
