Hey GC, I've got a nice medium sized closet grow setup in a basement that tends to get mildly humid over the summer time. I'm looking for any tips to help control humidity in a grow space without using a big de-humidifier. Thanks all.
Theres a product you can buy at hardware stores thats meant to suck up moisture in the air, but cant think of the name atm.
You need a dehumidifier, im not sure how big your room is but heres an example of a portable one http://www.theatlasstore.com/p/382408/portable-compact-dehumidifier-air-dryer.html this one would be nice for a closet or walk in closet not sure if it would meet your needs tho sorry i couldnt be more helpful.
Nice, that little guy should help tremendously thanks for the link. As for Anony, I think hardware stores sell these rocks (maybe lava rocks dont quote me) that you hang in a bag above your room that apparently wick away moisture in the air. I too can't think of the name for them but we've got a few down in the basement as is. This should do just fine. Thanks again.
hmm werid i had to buy the oppsite one. I bought a cool mist pro from walmart to boost my humidity! and it actualy keeps it a couple degrees cooler in there too.
